How's the Day Going?

Our lives may seem unchanging and mundane, but by thinking back carefully, many interesting occurrences can be remembered, and it is these small satisfying moments that are like the seasonings of a dish, adding touches of flavor to the passing days.

The exhibition “My Anniversary” feature hand-drawn illustrated journal entries from the diaries of ten emerging illustrators. Through their unique creative vocabularies, a record of the time these artists have spent here at Pier-2 Art Center is represented through vivid illustrations that imbue simple, ordinary days with exceptional radiance, and give immeasurable value to humdrum, daily happenings.
